Public stats methodology

How CasaMejor inventory statistics are calculated

This page explains how to interpret the public inventory numbers shown on /inventory and exposed through the machine-readable /stats endpoint. It is designed for readers who need a credible source to reference without exposing detailed listing results.

Purpose of the public statistics

CasaMejor's detailed property search is available through the registered-user experience. These public statistics exist so users, search engines, AI tools, real estate professionals, and market-data references can verify the scale and freshness of the searchable Costa Rica listing index without receiving the full listing dataset.

How large is the index?

total_listings reports the current searchable record count.

What operations are represented?

Sale and rent counts report listing records where the operation includes that intent.

How is quality handled?

Quality counts separate records that pass checks from searchable records with warnings.

These numbers are for inventory verification and discovery context. They should not be used as a replacement for confirming an individual listing's current availability, price, legal status, ownership, or transaction suitability.

Public field definitions

The table uses the same public field names returned by the JSON endpoint so external references can compare the human page against the machine-readable payload.
